Ruben is a photographer and director with a strong sense for light and story-telling. His work focuses on capturing real and emotional moments in a way that feels cinematic and natural. With experience in both photography and directing, he brings a unique, cross-genre perspective to his projects. This allows him to create a consistent visual style across both photo and film. His calm, minimal and aesthetic approach is shaped by his interest in modern art, interior design and documentary photography. The result is a visual language that feels thoughtful, intimate and carefully composed.

Westwing x Eva Lys, Campaign –– For Westwing, I photographed tennis star Eva Lys in a graphic, Wes Anderson–inspired setting that blends interior and exterior spaces. Creative by Karola Bloß and Jesse Becker.

Stranger Things, Magenta TV x Netflix, Campaign –– I had the pleasure of bringing this campaign to life, produced by Anorak, featuring the cast of Stranger Things. They had just wrapped filming the fifth and final season and were reunited for the campaign.

Mono x Reh, Editorial –– A study exploring the encounter of both materials: steel (Mono) and ceramics (Reh).
Digital Detox, Short –– A young influencer embarks on a digital detox weekend at a secluded retreat designed for those seeking refuge from their online lives. Though the space exudes tranquility and tactile presence, she remains detached, unable to break free from the rhythms of her digital existence. As she mechanically performs her daily routines, the retreat itself becomes an extension of the very system it aims to counteract. The beauty that lingers outside, in the grander scheme, goes unnoticed, and the established rhythm is disrupted only for a fleeting moment. Through a documentary-style lens, the film explores the tension between the analog and digital worlds, questioning our ability to disconnect. Without offering judgment or answers, it presents a thought-provoking reflection on modern digital dependency.

O² Paystop, Campaign –– Shot this fun project for O2 with Serviceplan in Mexico, produced by Zauberberg Productions. The campaign references were  classics of street photography by Alex Webb and Saul Leiter.

Spacial Relations, Editorial –– This editorial explores the interplay between human relationships and the spaces they inhabit.

Porsche x Intersection Mag, Editorial –– Starring Nicole Atieno, shot at König Gallerie.
Kärcher RCF, Campaign –– This humorous campaign gives space to individuals who are effortless confident in who they are. Directed and photographed by me.

Interior Editorials –– A selection of various  editorial work.

Bauhaus Archiv –– Moody images of some of the most famous design classics.Â

Apple x O², campaign –– In Mexico together with Zauberberg we shot this campaign that tells the story of a teacher and his interest in Japanese culture.

SOS Kinderdorf, Campaign –– In collaboration with Goodhouse Productions, I photographed this campaign, which focuses on moods and atmosphere.

Barcelona Pavillon –– Some impressions of Mies van der Rohe’s iconic pavillon.
Kärcher FC8, Campaign –– Shot in Milan, this campaign focuses on pure aesthetics, including the beauty of small accidents. DoP: Jonas Kolahdoozan, Production: Friederike Seifert, Grading: Jonny Thorpe, Location: Anticamera

Zeitung Magazin, Editorial –– Starring Theresa Patzschke

Grau, Campaign –– Grau asked me to photograph a campaign in which warm light plays a primary role and is key to the overall ambient mood. Creative by Karola Bloß.

Kärcher VC, Campaign –– Shot this super fun campaign together with Antoni, creative by Kirsten Frenz and Alex Petrache. At the end  we won Bronze twice at ADC for it.

H&M x Highsnobiety, Campaign –– Shot and directed this vivid campaign with an incredible group of artists. Choreography by Phoenix Chase-Meares.
